Measuring motor height: figuring out how to measure motor height on a the transom if you had the motor all the way down on the boat to where. Jon boat o/b height off topic not sure if anyone makes a jackplate for small motors and jon boats. i use it for the 15hp johnson on my 12' aluminum boat.. Motor height? page 1 its an evinrude 55hp on a 16' true flat bottom aluminum boat. if not there is really no good reason for additional engine height to slow.
